This position reports to:
Sales Support Manager, AE OC

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

This role is contributing to the {Electrification} in {UAE}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
- Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
- Ensure written overview of all trade-related policies and instructions, processes (end-to-end) and tools, as applicable in the local unit, and maintain them up to date on annual basis. Ensure management awareness of the overview
- Provide Local Business managers and other staff periodic updates regarding the status of the local implementation of ABB’s Global Trade Program
- Under guidance of the CTCO, apply to the appropriate government agencies for any required customs and/or export control licenses/authorizations
- Ensure the classification of all exported and imported products/software/technology with respect to national export control and customs lists where applicable. Primary responsibility for execution of product classifications (ECN, ECCN, HTS) will reside with Product Classification Engineers (PCEs).
Qualifications for the role
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Strong communications skills
- SAP, SFDC & power BI Knowledge
- Microsoft office advanced knowledge especially excel, power point
