Role Overview

Reports to: IS Manager

Work Model: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Security Risk and Compliance Organization Globally. Main stakeholders are Security teams, Information Systems teams across global services and business areas.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of security measures for ABB in their own area of responsibility of Operational Technology (OT) Security. Protects ABB from rapidly escalating threats, stays vigilant in combating security threats, takes charge of the organization's cybersecurity, and keeps track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems used in ABB's operational facilities are secured.

You will be mainly accountable to:

  • Lead and maintain OT Risk Assessment activities, including managing assessment tools, ensuring alignment with ABB standards, and driving periodic assessments across operational locations
  • Monitor assessment completion and analyze security gaps, developing actionable remediation plans and ensuring timely approvals and communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Oversee OT security posture reporting, ensuring accurate, up to date visibility for internal stakeholders and supporting continuous improvement across factories
  • Provide expert guidance on OT security requirements, supporting factories with consulting, reviews, and best practice recommendations as needed
  • Co-develop and maintain OT security governance, including policies, standards, reference architectures, training content, and awareness initiatives, while building strong working relationships with factory teams to maintain an accurate risk profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer sciences with 10+ years of experience in OT systems and OT security, including exposure to operational environments
  • Strong hands on background in performing assessments, identifying security gaps, and coordinating remediation across a wide range of operational facility types (such as manufacturing, R&D, and warehouses)
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including operational facility teams, business and IS management teams, and the OT security team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Certifications preferred:

  • ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Risk Assessment
  • ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Design Specialist
  • GICSP
