Reports to: Region Sales Manager
- Eastern USA
Work Model: Remote in assigned territory (OH, KY, TN and IN)
In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our installed base and gaining new market share for process control customers in Process Automation ENERGY in the Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana territory. Reporting to the Central Regional Sales Manager, you will coordinate your sales activities, creating added value for the customer and ABB, by creating and selling process control, power management, excitation power/controls, digital analytic and cyber security engineered solutions.
Our ENERGY segment consists of Utility, Oil, Gas, Chemical, Alternative Fuels, Pharma, and Water/Wastewater.
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions
- Gaining new Logos and converting competitive installed base customers to ABB process automation
- Providing solutions for customer businesses that are in line with our volume, mix and profitability targets
- Selling "Customer Care Contracts" aimed at enhancing the customers' aftermarket experience
- Drive Action Plans and Pursuit Plans to gain competitive market share
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in customer facing and/or control, power, digital technology roles is desired
- Proficiency in CRM and MS office suite is a plus
- Travel required - 50%
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US and a valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Logic Controllers (PLC/SCADA), Power Management (Medium and Low Voltage power packages)
- Experience with Software services, Cyber Security solutions and architecture, Field Service Contracts, etc.
- Expertise in networks and Digital Solutions

Compensation
While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
