Your role and responsibilities
In your role you will generate constrained production plan, material plan, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization to improve service levels. Prepare and analyze all data pertinent to creating constrained production plan, use rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, and link it to the demand plan. Create a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. You will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. Release and follow-up manufacturing work orders.

The work model for the role is onsite.

This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area, Smart Buildings Division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Translating projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. Establish key performance indicators of master plan accuracy.

• Identifying current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Calculate production lead times. Manage load levelling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling.

• Analyzing production floor status through input/output control reporting. Maintain planning parameters in ERP and planning systems.

• Working with customer service and production to provide appropriate delivery dates, and material planners to convert the Supply Plan into a master production schedule. Schedule supply based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to customer service team across multiple product lines. ​

Qualifications for the role

• University degree in relevant field.

• A collaborative, solution-focused approach.

• Knowledge of SAP will be a plus.

• Experience in material planning will be considered as an advantage.

• At least 2 years of experience in production planning.
