This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation Business area provides robotics, and machine and factory automation including products, software, solutions and services. Revenues are generated both from direct sales to end users as well as from indirect sales mainly through system integrators and machine builders. www.abb.com/robotics

Your Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the System Service Manager, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project.

Work model: Onsite

• Act as key contact for the customer and an internal escalation point for project issues, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including management and customer reporting
• Define a project plan including scope and financial plans, schedule, risk management and HSE, effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization
• Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expense, identify, qualify, quantifies and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued
• Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer, ensure a smooth transition between sales, proposal, and site management team, handover to FS team
• Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project, living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Qualifications for the Role

Education:

• Bachelor or above
• More than 5 year's project management experience

Knowledge:

• A good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project

Skills:

• Fluent English skill both in written and oral, preferably have PMI certification
• A customer minded person with strong interpersonal and people management skills
• Outstanding planning & organizing skills
• Result oriented and stress resistant person, very good communication skills both oral and written in mandarin and English
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors
• If necessary, no obstacles for travelling
