Sales Support Specialist – Low Voltage Switchgear

About the Role

This position reports to the Area Sales Manager and contributes to the EL Business, Low Voltage Switchgear Product in the Europe Region. The work model for this role is office/hybrid.

You will have the opportunity to adapt and implement the sales support strategy for a designated area, in line with the global support strategy, with focus on pre-sales support to achieve order placement. Each day, you will oversee the estimations, bids, and proposals and ensure alignment with the ABB standards and targets. You will showcase your expertise by focusing on achieving assigned targets by escalating to ensure timely resolution, as needed.

You will join a Tendering Team in Poland, where you will be able to thrive, have possibility to grow and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales team in all pre-sale customer activities (price & availability, quote status, pre-sale technical questions, etc.)
  • Maintain proactive communication with the sales team and other internal functions and provide them with all relevant information to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage special price requests as per the relevant requirements (dates, customer and company data, discounts, etc.) to allow order execution in the system
  • Oversee and ensure the collection and archiving of the documentation regarding opportunities, Special Price Agreements, and/or contracts and recording of the assumptions and decisions taken during the process, in the systems
  • Prepare budgetary and firm offers, based on Customer materials
  • Collect information about forecasting and identify with it
  • Support allocated countries with commercial conditions

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Technical education background with commercial basic knowledge
  • +3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or similar role
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of sales processes and pre-sales activities
  • Knowledge of pricing structures and discount management
  • Familiarity with contract management and documentation requirements
  • Understanding of forecasting principles
  • Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions
