About the Role
This position reports to: Service Sales Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.
This role contributes to the Motion Business Area – Service Division in Italy.
Work model: Onsite
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing field service tasks related to predictive and preventive maintenance on low-voltage motors
- Conducting vibration analysis and current spectrum diagnostics to identify potential failures and optimize motor performance
- Preparing material lists and ensuring all necessary parts and tools are available and meet quality standards
- Executing service activities with a first-time-right approach, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Documenting service activities and preparing customer reports for validation and signature
Qualifications
- Background as an Electrotechnical, Electrical, or Mechanical Technician (Diploma or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in field service or maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems, preferably in industrial environments
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and platforms for motor analysis
- Passionate about problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
- Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel across Italy and abroad
