To support this ambition, we are seeking a dedicated Marketing & Sales Manager to drive service and solution sales within the electrical engineering sector, helping us convert strong market potential into sustainable business growth.
Within ABB Electrification Service Ireland, we provide comprehensive support for low and medium voltage electrical systems. As a growing organisation, we offer a broad portfolio of products and services, including switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, and arc flash mitigation solutions.
This is a key leadership role suited to someone who combines strong technical sales expertise with commercial acumen. As Marketing & Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our continued success—leading a team of sales professionals while ensuring we remain close to our customers and responsive to their evolving needs. Your focus will be on developing relationships and driving growth across key sectors, including industry, utilities, data centres, and related markets.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Work model: #hybrid from our Dublin office
-
Develop and implement the sales strategy with annual profitable growth within ABB Electrification Service in Ireland
-
Ensure that the sales team executes according to strategy and goals.
-
Generate increased pipeline by analyzing market and customer needs, our installed base, in conjunction with our portfolio.

Be responsible for the marketing strategy and activities in the country
-
Customer relations, customer events, customer satisfaction, and coordinate marketing activities that support sales.

Participate in the quotation process and responsible for negotiation.

Develop customer solutions - in close collaboration with the back office.

Living up to ABB's core values of safety and integrity by taking personal responsibility for your own tasks, those of your employees and colleagues and the company

Driving customers focused on collaboration and ensuring appropriate action towards market opportunities.
Qualifications for the Role:
-
You have at least 10 years of commercial experience within the service or electrification industry.
-
Experience in a leadership role, ideally management of sales personnel
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, automation) or other related fields
-
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design and execution of commercial plans and impact strategies.
-
You are fluent in English and can read and understand technical documentation.
-
Experience in technical sales and understanding of electrical engineering solutions.
-
Experience as industrial engineer, automation technician, high voltage technician, electrical technician, mechanical engineer or similar is an advantage but not a requirement.
