About the Role

This position reports to: R&D Team Lead

Även kommande sommar kommer vi att erbjuda sommarjobb på utvecklingsavdelningen på ABB i Malmö. Vi kommer att sätta ihop två team bestående av 3–4 studenter med olika bakgrunder och som kommit olika långt i sina utbildningar. Teamen kommer tillsammans att samarbeta och lösa programmerings- och testinriktade uppgifter. Arbetet innebär att läsa in sig på uppgiften, testa och lära sig på egen hand, söka information och – viktigast av allt – ställa frågor och diskutera både inom teamet och med våra ingenjörer. Vi tillhandahåller en Scrum Master, och våra utvecklare och testare finns tillgängliga för stöd och avstämningar.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge

• Grundläggande programmering i något av följande språk: C#, C, C++, Java, Jaml eller scriptspråk såsom Python eller JavaScript

Desirable Skills

• Erfarenhet av verktyg som Visual Studio Code, Git eller Azure DevOps
• Erfarenhet med Linux, containerisering, Kubernetes eller Docker
• YAML kunskap för att arbeta med pipelines
• Erfarenhet av Artificiell intelligens

Example Work Tasks

• Implementering av ett specifikt användargränssnitt
• Implementering av automatiska tester
• Skapande av dokumentation för både kod och användare
• Genomförande av tester och felsökning
• Programmering av embedded-applikationer
• Sätta upp en containeriserad miljö, installera produkter samt skapa skript för automatisering

Practical Information

• Location: ABB office in Malmö
• Employment type: Full-time
• Duration: Approximately six weeks
• Start date: Most positions start week 25 or 26
