Position Overview

This Position reports to: Regional Sales Manager MODP, NEU&CEU

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. As a Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for growing our Motion business in the East and West Flanders region. You'll promote ABB's cutting-edge solutions for energy efficiency, Industry 4.0, and expand the reach of our motors and drives portfolio. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Motion, you'll use your expertise and energy to build long-term relationships with partners, engineering firms, integrators, and OEMs—delivering smart, sustainable solutions that meet their evolving needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive growth by increasing sales volume and margin across the Motion portfolio
  • Build trust by delivering excellent service and understanding your customers' unique challenges and goals
  • Spot opportunities and help shape the future by identifying and developing new markets in close collaboration with the Sales team
  • Turn insights into action by translating market trends into tailored solutions with support from marketing and technical teams
  • Stay ahead by monitoring customer and industry developments
  • Thrive in a team that values collaboration, supports one another, and celebrates shared success

Your Background

We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused professional who is eager to grow and make a difference. You bring:

  • A technical education at bachelor's or master's level
  • Knowledge of electrical drive technology, pumps, fans, cooling automation, and IoT—or a strong willingness to learn
  • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative spirit and experience working in a team environment
  • Strong commercial insight and a results-driven attitude
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written); French is a plus
