Position Overview

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Work model: Onsite

Location: Engineering department of MV in Brno, Vídeňská

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Learning the department's operations and the production of medium-voltage (MV) switchgear
• Completing a training on working with the e Plan program
• Creating the required technical documentation for orders under the guidance of an experienced colleague, with a gradual transition to independent project work
• Close cooperation with the project manager
• Specification of LV and HV materials for the order and entering them into the SAP system
• Working in internal systems
• Creating the necessary technical documentation
• Collaborating on the elimination of identified errors, proposing atypical solutions, etc.
• Long-term deepening and expanding of expertise

Qualifications

• Secondary/University education in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of English at a communicative level (A2-B1) required for communication with customers (initially mainly via email)
• Proactivity and independence
• Knowledge of 2D or 3D modeling in programs like AutoCAD
• Technical thinking, willingness to think and create solutions
• Interest in the field of electrical engineering

The position is also suitable for graduates.
