Position Overview

Reports to: TA Team Lead

Work Model: #

This position is part of a strategic talent pool created to support future requirements across electrical design, project engineering, drives, automation, and commissioning for industrial projects.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Execute basic and detailed electrical engineering activities for industrial projects
  • Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), protection schemes, layouts, and calculations
  • Perform electrical sizing calculations including transformer, UPS, battery, DG, VFD, earthing, lighting, and cable sizing
  • Prepare and review equipment datasheets, specifications, layouts, and cable schedules
  • Review, commission, and troubleshoot LV/MV drive and automation systems
  • Support site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project management, procurement, vendors, customers, and global engineering teams

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a reputed university (should be full-time)
  • 5–15 years of experience in:
  • Electrical design and project engineering and/or
    • Commissioning, drives, and automation
  • Experience in industrial projects (process automation, energy, utilities)
  • Exposure to ABB drives or equivalent OEM systems preferred
  • Experience in LV/MV electrical systems
  • Electrical design tools and calculations
  • Drives and automation systems
  • Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Technical documentation and stakeholder coordination
