Cyber Security Technical Advisor

We are looking for a candidate for a position "Cyber Security Technical Advisor" in the European Operations Center (EUOPC) in Pilsen or Ostrava. We are looking for a passionate and curious cyber security sales support specialist with customer centered experience in developing, estimating, and delivering cyber security solutions for ABB Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) to support worldwide customers.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Job Role

Supporting the sales and technical advisory teams primarily in Norway in developing and delivering competitive cyber security solutions for different industry segments such as hydro power business, offshore wind farms, Oil & Gas, etc.

Responsibility

• Develop cyber security technical and commercial proposal based on input documents received from customer
• Develop cyber security solution including Bill of Material, engineering estimation and system architecture in compliance with ABB standards
• Follow the ABB quality processes for each opportunity
• Collaborate with local (NOABB) technical advisory and bid & proposal teams
• Support the Bid & Proposal responsible person in order to deliver the proposal in agreed quality and time
• Handover of opportunity from sales to local execution team
• Participate in improvement of B&P processes and tools

Education & Experience

• Education in computer science, instrumentation or automation industry
• At least 2 years of experience in IT or OT, network administration, etc.
• Understanding of typical standards for OT Networks & Cybersecurity in EU in general in particular (NIS2, IEC 62443 etc)
• Basic orientation in IT/OT cyber security and IEC62443 standards
• Basic knowledge of DCS/Safety network architecture
• Basic Orientation in understanding customer requirements & industry standards, evaluating and converting that into solutions
• General knowledge of network firewalls, routers and switches of various vendors, virtualization, networking, etc.
• Proactive at problem solving and growth oriented
• English spoken and written (level B2) oral and written business communication

Other Requirements:

• Quick learner on various technologies
• Availability to short period business travels to perform on site activities
• Performing the assigned tasks with minimum supervision
