Role Overview

Reports to: Material Planner

Work Model: Onsite

Location: Faridabad, India

• Motion business for IEC Low Voltage division

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute in strategic value to the organization by driving transparent, efficient, and cost-optimized procurement practices. Committed to strengthening supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and leveraging data-driven insights to deliver sustainable results, through proactive collaboration and ethical decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support the organization's long-term growth.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Maintaining the right inventory levels, optimizing them according to the company's targets while ensuring high customer service level
• Prepare & Review Sale and Operational plan
• Supporting and maintaining inventory management processes for finished/semi-finished goods and/or raw materials in line with company guidelines
• Capacity Planning in line with Mid & long term demand for all Supply Pools
• Release of Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly/Daily Schedules
• Make & Release of Purchase Orders
• Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization
• Identifying key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives across businesses
• Coordinating various Vendor Audits & update Records

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in direct procurement
• Full time engineering in Electrical or Mechanical background
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment
• Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area
• Knowledge of SAP-Ariba, SAP-MM/PP
• Report review, Find the Gap & prepare Mitigation Plan
• Review of Supplier/Customer On Time Delivery
• Review inventories against Targets
