Your role and responsibilities

  • As Local Division Manager Türkiye, you will be responsible to coordinate and guide your local sales organization towards intended outcome

  • In this position you develop the Turkish sales organization, you work in straight collaboration with Southern Europe Region management team by defining sales budget, targets, goals and relevant commercial strategies to meet them in alignment with the company's main aims

  • For our customers, you will ensure their needs are met with the highest level of satisfaction.

  • You will oversee the implementation of customer-centric strategies and initiatives within the organization, working closely with the sales team to address client concerns and build solid relationships

  • Assume full P&L responsibility and develop the Turkish organization and its people according to business plan

  • Develop and implement strategic plans, goals and targets to enhance business growth and expansion in Turkish market, in alignment with regional and global sales strategy

  • Achieve & implement sales targets in respect of budgets, sales efficiency, and profitability. Ensure profitable business growth by expanding market share.

  • Oversee and guide the country team, promoting a culture of performance and motivating staff to reach goals. Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, skilled and managed. Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless functionality and identify areas for improvement.

  • Guarantee high-level satisfaction and solid partnerships for key customers while developing further relationships with existing and new customers. Collaborate closely with all internal stakeholders such as executives, upper management, product development, operations.

  • Responsible for the Governance, Risk and Compliance of the entire business legal entity with local laws and regulations. Fulfill fiduciary duties on behalf of the local legal entity. Ensure that the country organization follows important guidelines regarding the ABB Integrity and business ethics.

Qualifications for the role

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, working as a senior leader in a similar role
  • Extensive experience in a management position, such as a Country Manager, Business Unit manager or similar position
  • Experienced in managerial abilities in developing organizations, teams, and collaborators, coupled with effective strategic, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Extensive experience in Industrial Automation with experience in selling and supporting technical product sales and technical solutions sales
  • Solid knowledge of the industry and the market dynamics within the country.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills, adept at building efficient teams, with a resourceful mindset, customer orientation, and extensive experience in developing strategies and business plans
  • Ability to enhance skills within the organization and handle change management
  • A degree in engineering, specifically in electronics or mechatronics, or equivalent discipline.
  • Turkish knowledge is a must, business fluent in English.
