Head of Cash Management:

Reporting to the Head of Trade Finance, you will support ABB Robotics’ global trade finance operations. We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Finance Specialist to join our centralized Trade Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the issuance, amendment, maintenance, and monitoring of bank guarantees, bonds, and other trade finance instruments supporting business operations globally.

As part of a centrally managed organization, you will work closely with business units, legal teams, banks, and external stakeholders worldwide to ensure efficient and compliant trade finance operations.

Preferred location: Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Your responsibilities

• Issue, amend, extend, and cancel bank guarantees and bonds in accordance with business requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of trade finance instruments.
• Coordinate with relationship banks and internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of requests.
• Review guarantee wording and support negotiations with customers, banks, and legal teams.
• Monitor outstanding guarantees and ensure renewals, expiries, and reductions are managed proactively.
• Maintain trade finance documentation and records in relevant systems.
• Support global business units with trade finance expertise and advisory services.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, banking regulations, and risk management requirements.
• Prepare reports, KPIs, and management information related to guarantee portfolios and utilization.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization across global operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Treasury, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Trade Finance, Treasury Operations, Banking, or Corporate Finance.
• Strong knowledge of guarantees, bonds, letters of credit, and international trade finance practices.
• Experience working with multinational organizations and global banking partners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a global shared service center or centralized treasury environment.
• Knowledge Treasury Management Systems, or trade finance platforms.
• Experience with process automation and digital trade finance solutions.
