Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the {FAO R2R Team} in {Xiamen}. Main stakeholders are {ELBA}.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Process

• Perform necessary activities / tasks within the Accounts Receivable department to ensure accurate and timely reporting

• Perform analysis of specific Accounts Receivable accounts on a regular basis and take appropriate action when necessary

• Comply with and help to achieve Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance in Accounts Receivable for applicable templates

• Apply ABB Group Accounting standards, compliance to ABB’s Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, and local GAAP and compliance with ABB

Customer

Group Charter- Actively seek opportunities to improve processes

• Meet commitments and deliver high quality services to all applicable stakeholders in line with agreed upon service levels

• Commit to professional ownership of service levels

• Commit to and drive customer focus and customer satisfaction to ensure business partners and suppliers are provided the service levels agreed

Team

• Work within the internal control environment for the Accounts Receivable department

• Support and participate in safety, compliance, business ethics, Group Charter, communications and other related activities

• Qualifications for the role

• experience at finance and accounting position

• Good oral and written English.

• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, improvement, good written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in SAP/Excel/PPT/Power BI/AI Skill

• Possess strong numerical sensitivity, clear logical reasoning in calculations.

• Easy going, optimistic, patient, persevering, good inter-personal skills, with result orientation and customer orientation.
