Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts. Each day, you will support the ABB group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in decision making processes. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in the evaluation of the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment decisions.

This role will provides reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts to support CNCMX and different ABB service functional services under ZC divisions/XXBA in CN/JP/KR/TW at various organization levels in decision making processes in Xiamen China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducts month end close for responsible PGs or functions, ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial data.
• Performs the analysis of financial results in responsible PGs or functions, prepares various management reports, including management performance reports, commentaries on financial statements, etc., on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Monitors financial KPI in responsible area, facilitates regular reviews with local function managers and global PG controllers. Provides the commentaries and advice from financial point of view to ensure targets are met.
• Drives and facilitates financial planning processes and activities (forecasting and budgeting). Supports in the evaluation of the financial impact of strategic, functions operation initiatives, organization changes, or other investment decisions.
• Sets up Hub charging mechanism and process, aiming at full cost deductibility, tax compliance and zero receivable overdue/delays.
• Contributes or leads process improvement initiatives, supports the implementation of standardized processes and tools.
• Work with the reporting units and other hubs to follow-up on the inconsistencies noted on management reporting information
• Facilitates sharing of knowledge and best practices
• Others assigned by line manager.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree, major in accounting or finance related
• Working experience with more than 5 years, large scale multi-national company finance working experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience on financial analysis and budgeting/planning
• Good communication skills
• Good on both oral and written English and good presentation skills
• Result-oriented and strong team spirit
• Familiar with SAP, EXCEL, Power Point, good at Power BI will be a plus
