The Role: Tender Manager

As Tender Manager, you lead the tender process and guide the tender team (3 colleagues). At the same time, you actively contribute to strategic and complex tenders that directly impact ABB’s success in the Benelux.

You work closely with international ABB factories, Sales, Engineering, and customers. You contribute to projects that truly matter — from drinking water facilities and infrastructure works to energy generation.

✅ What You Will Do

• Lead the tender team with a coaching, non‑hierarchical approach.

• Prepare technical and commercial tenders that are complete, competitive, and high‑quality.

• Structure and plan the tender process: deadlines, quality checks, and decision‑making.

• Coordinate with international ABB factories on pricing, technical specifications, and lead times.

• Translate technical information into compelling, customer‑focused documentation.

• Monitor tender KPIs such as timeliness, quality, competitiveness, and win rate.

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations to deliver the best customer solutions.

• Work 2 days per week in Etten-Leur, 1 day in Antwerp, plus regular customer visits across the Benelux.

🧠 What You Bring

Must-haves

• Minimum HBO level (Bachelor’s), preferably Technical Business Administration

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical or industrial environment

• Experience in team coordination or informal leadership

• Strong organizational, analytical, and results‑oriented mindset

• Energetic, open‑minded team player with drive

Language skills

You work daily with stakeholders in the Benelux, so:

• Fluent Dutch (min. B2) is required

• English (min. B2) is required for international collaboration

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of Automation

• French language skills
