This Position reports to:

Global Project Finance Manager:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

You will be working as Project Finance Analyst and will be part of Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will report to the Global Project Finance Manager and support the Business Controller in the assigned country across all financial and commercial aspects of project execution. You will play a key role in driving project performance, ensuring financial accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. Occasional business travel may be required, typically once per year, based on project needs.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable to:

• Support project manager and controller in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project’s performance. Ensure compliance with Accounting & Reporting Policies and applicable internal control procedures .
• Provide forecast information like cash flow plan, revenue recognition plan and cost-to-complete.
• Monitor and control actual cost and revenues against the budget and forecast. Participate in the project’s risk management process for early identification of risks and opportunities, and do monthly assessment of the identified risks, contingencies and opportunities.
• Participate in Project Review meetings / sale order review meetings. Identify, analyze, report and follow-up any economical deviations related to recognized revenues and gross margin, actual/planned costs, cash flow and over dues
• Monthly reporting internally (country/hub) and externally to other stakeholders. Update PR+ and other relevant tools.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)- Bachelor’s in Commerce / accounting / business administration / CMA / CWA / CA with fluency in English.

• Up to 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Proactive and responsible personality with good team work and excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to take on responsibility. Can work independently, result-oriented and structured
• Experience in use of SAP and relevant Microsoft programs
