Your Role: Own the Challenge
We're seeking a Software Developer to modernize and extend the Automation Studio codebase, bridging unmanaged C/C++ components with modern .NET / .NET Core modules. You'll refactor legacy systems, enhance core functionality, and contribute to the technical renewal of our widely used Engineering Tools platform.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Extend and maintain core Automation Studio functionality across unmanaged C/C++ and .NET / .NET Core modules, implementing enhancements and ensuring seamless interaction between native and managed components

Refactor and stabilize legacy code layers while migrating selected components toward modern .NET patterns and architectures

Analyze and improve performance-critical C++ sections, optimizing for speed and efficiency in production environments

Update technical documentation, maintain automated testing frameworks, and collaborate with feature teams to ensure consistent behavior across the platform

What it takes to Run what runs the world

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline

Extensive professional experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core application development Core application development

Understanding of C/C++ and experience working with mixed managed/unmanaged codebases

Experience with refactoring legacy code and modernizing software architectures

Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review processes

Demonstrated methodical and problem-solving skills with focus on performance optimization

Fluent English skills
