About the Role

This Position reports to: R&D Department/Local Unit Lead

As a member of the Research and Development (R&D) for System Drives team based in Krakow, you will be responsible for developing the Medium Voltage Drives product software. We guarantee challenging and rewarding work environment in global R&D team full of truly dedicated engineers, scientist and developers.

Work model: Hybrid (#)

Responsibilities

• Development of embedded software for medium voltage drives in C++
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including experts in physics, control algorithm design, software development, and systems engineering
• Review and interpret technical documentation and electrical diagrams related to drive systems and testing setups
• Being involved in quality and cyber security assurance in created code
• Be open to occasional international travel to our R&D centers, manufacturing facilities, and client locations

Qualifications

• Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or Robotics
• Bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development using C/C++, ideally within the field of power electronics
• Demonstrate strong English communication skills, both written and spoken; experience with GIT and familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins are desirable
• A solid grasp of converter control theory will be an advantage
• Show initiative, independence, and comfort working in Agile teams, with proven problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning and knowledge sharing
