Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

ABB is seeking highly motivated and innovative Buyer to join its talent pool for upcoming opportunities across Electrification, Automation, and Motion businesses at across multiple locations in India including Nashik, Bangalore, Faridabad, and Vadodara.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)- Identify sources, develop product

• Tools : SAP MM, MS Excel, and procurement tools.
• Experience in procurement of motors, pumps, rotating motors etc. Electrical products such as LV switchgear and power distribution equipment, cables, and cable installation materials, IT and networking products, motors and drives, automation systems, and field instruments.
• Product knowledge of LV/MV Drives
• Candidate must have experience on LV Switchgears (ACB, MCB, MCCB and PCC, MCC Panels)
• Candidate must have experience on MV Switchgears (AIS, GIS & RMU)
• Vendor Developments and Management Exp is required
• Full time B.Tech Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentations Full time
• Full time Diploma Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentations Full time
• Experience rand will be 2- 10 years
