Reports to: Sales Support Manager

Mission Statement

Support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process. Serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Main Accountabilities

Working as a member of the PG System Drive sales support team, reporting to technical sales support team leader.

1. Sales Support

  • Offer technical advice and provide comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with ABB products/systems/applications
  • Provide technical support during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations
  • Provide suitable technical solution and proposal to customers with sales

2. Diagnostic Studies

  • Perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
  • Propose technical solutions for complex enquiries
  • Support the off-site and on-site service from technical side

3. Presentations

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues

4. Training

  • Offer product/solution/service related training

5. Technical Documentation

  • Manage the process of translating the training material of the product and training courseware

6. Feedback

  • Follow and collect customer need and competitor information for R&D

  • Execute other technical tasks related to SD business

  • 在技术会议、产品展示和谈判等场合提供技术支持
  • 与销售一起为客户提供合适的技术方案和建议

2. 产品诊断分析

  • 针对问题进行产品诊断和分析,确定最适合的技术解决方案满足客户的需求
  • 为复杂的询价提出技术解决方案
  • 从技术方面支持非现场、现场服务

3. 技术演示

  • 为内部员工和客户准备并提供关于产品和问题的技术演示、资料等

  • 提供产品/解决方案/服务相关的培训

5. 技术文档

  • 技术文档管理,产品培训材料和培训课件的翻译及维护
