Business Line: Medium Voltage Drives in Motion Service
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the global manufacturability, quality, and cost optimization of service products within your scope, with focus on LCI. - Overseeing the product lifecycle in alignment with strategic goals, including proactive obsolescence management, assessing the impact of standard changes, and maintaining service-specific tools in collaboration with compliance and portfolio teams.
- Contributing to service R&D projects and support the transition of service products through their release phases. You'll also help evaluate engineered solutions and collaborate with product management to decide when to productize.
- Supporting sales and operations by clarifying technical questions, assisting with technical solution agreements (TSAs), and reviewing complex engineered solutions to ensure they align with product strategy and customer needs.
Qualifications
- A degree in electrical or power engineering, or a similar field such as mechanical engineering (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
- 5+ years of experience in the industrial sector, within the power energy field
- 2-3 years of experience in functionally leading small engineering teams
- Highly skilled in ABB products, supported by internal training, and possess an understanding of product lifecycle and documentation processes
