Your roles and responsibilities:

As a Project Planning Officer at the Ostrava branch, you will have the opportunity to lead the planning, scheduling and cost control of all phases of individual deliveries of small to medium-sized projects at ABB. Every day, you will maintain and analyze actual and forecasted schedules, costs, revenues, income/expenses, as well as risks and opportunities. You will also demonstrate your expertise by proactively monitoring, reporting and managing deviations.

Job description:

• Overseeing the implementation and performance of the project with well-maintained planning of the schedule, costs, cash and risks of the individual project.

• Analyzing the project requirements and checking that all essential work activities have been identified in sufficient detail to serve as a basis for developing realistic project schedules.

• Monitoring project progress and regularly analyzing project critical paths to ensure that all critical path activities and project milestones are progressing as planned.

• Ensuring the closure of individual projects in accordance with customer contracts.

Qualifications for the position

• Secondary or university education

• English at level B2 or higher (mandatory); Czech/Slovak also at level B2

• Demonstrable experience with MS Project and Excel

• SAP knowledge an advantage

• You enjoy working with data and planning tools, where you create a project structure

• Proactive approach, diligence, good time management and strong communication skills

• Previous planning experience welcome
