About the Role

This position reports to: Accounting & Reporting Manager-Payable

You will be working as Finance Analyst and will be part of Finance Transformation Project in Global Data Services (GDS) based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the GDS process lead. You will be primarily responsible to provide support in ensuring the financial transactions are correctly recorded in Central Finance (CFIN), identifying the errors and resolving at a quick possible time and very good collaboration with various cross functional teams in Finance, Business and Information Systems.

This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Global Data Services division in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting preparation of relevant data extracts to identify the various financial transactions which are not flowing to CFIN
• Use the Knowledge book and get the errors by following the defined process
• Work with the respective SMEs of various sub streams in Purchase to Pay (P2P), Orders to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R) and Plan to Deliver (P2D)
• Collaborate with cross functional team for timely resolution of the errors
• Ensure Trial Balance is matched at the month end
• Support in passing necessary accounting entries during month end

Qualifications

• Master's in business administration with specialization in Finance
• Minimum 2+ years of experience is preferred or freshers with good academic track record
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically on MS Excel & PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP / S4 Hana will be an added advantage
