This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Vadodara, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.
• Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.
• Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.
• Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (should be full-time)
• Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in Project Management, Operations, Customer Communication, Contract Management, Capex, Costing & Tracking, OTD, Order Handling, and Techno-Commercial functions
• PMP Certification preferred; strong proficiency in ERP (SAP) and familiarity with IEC Standards
• In-depth product knowledge of MV Switchgear, Relays, Grid Components; exposure to LV and HV products welcomed
• Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of managing a team of 5+, with proven success in Customer Handling, Cross-functional Collaboration, and People Management
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
