Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.

The Channel Marketing Manager for Wiring Accessory is responsible for developing and executing channel marketing strategies to drive product awareness, sales growth, and brand positioning across multi channels. This role partners with the sales team and serves as the key link between product marketing and go-to-market activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Develop and implement annual channel marketing plans aligned with the Wiring Accessory business strategy.
  • Identify market opportunities and define channel segmentation and prioritization.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI tracking.
  • Monitor and evaluate channel performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (online and offline) targeting channel audiences.
  • Develop and manage product launch plans for new Wiring Accessory products within the channel.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials including brochures, catalogues, digital content, and POS materials.
  • Manage trade show and industry event participation relevant to the wiring accessory segment.
  • Work closely with the sales and distributor management teams to align channel marketing activities with business priorities.
  • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer analysis to support decision-making.
  • Develop channel-specific value propositions and solution selling tools.
  • Support key account and project-based marketing activities as required.
  • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior in the wiring accessory segment.
  • Prepare regular marketing performance reports and present to senior management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including channel sales growth, market share, and campaign ROI.
  • Gather and consolidate market feedback to support product and strategy development.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B/B2C marketing, with at least 3 years in channel or trade marketing.
  • Experience in the electrical, building materials, or related industrial sector is preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing channel marketing programs with measurable results.
  • Experience working with distribution channels is strongly preferred.
