Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Developer for B&R Product Configurators, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing product configurators that enable efficient and accurate quotation processes. Your work ensures seamless integration with enterprise systems like SAP and CRM, driving automation and scalability across our global business.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month

• Develop and customize product configurators within IQ, ensuring robust functionality and user-friendly design.

• Integrate IQ with enterprise systems to enable end-to-end process automation.

• Manage the full configurator lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

• Serve as an internal IS consultant, aligning innovative solutions with business needs while collaborating with stakeholders, solution consultants, and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

• Degree in Software Engineering, IT, or related field (HTL, FH, University) or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to demonstrate your experience in software engineering and IT, with established skills in designing and implementing robust solutions.

• Interest and affinity for automation products and the drive to create user-friendly configurators that simplify complex processes.

• Teamplayer and open-minded person

• You are at ease communicating in German and English (spoken and written).

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 52.853,78 EUR annual for a full-time position as of May 2025. But we would be happy to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
