Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

• Development and maintenance the firmware for the wind turbine power control units.

• Develops and integrates software/firmware modules using C/C++ for embedded real-time systems

• Reviews relevant requirements, standards, and other documentation to clarify and understand software/firmware engineering requirements.

• Provides estimations for modules under development and estimates own work.

• Verifies and validates the changes implemented, and executes software and firmware unit and integration tests.

Qualifications for the Role

• Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, Telecomunication Engineering, IT Engineering or Physics with electronics specialization.

• 5 years of experience in embedded firmware developments using C/C++ language

• Source control management experience in GITLab and GIT

• VHDL programming and experience with FPGAs

• Knowledge of digital signal processing

• Digital hardware design basics (understanding of electrical diagrams).

• PCB design knowledge

• Lean agile experience / Agile methodologies

• Basic knowledge of power electronic converters and electrical machines

• Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement

• Requires B2 in Spanish and English
