Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is on site

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.

• Follow up with main suppliers evaluating stocks for good services

• Follow up on all services as direct buyer according production line

• follow on statements to be on time according payment terms

• Analyzing and evaluating stock to complete planning scheduling

• Avoid possible shortages

• Confirm material health & recalculate safety stocks

• Open order follows up avoid overdue

• Lead conference with USA suppliers

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or similar.

• 4+ years of experience in procurement as buyer planner or material planner (Especially Direct Material).

• Knowledge in metal, electrical & plastics commodities.

• Experience using SAP, knowledge Kanban system, ROP & Safety stocks calculation.

• Calculates and maintains in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies.

• Collaborate with Buyers to obtain the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility.

• Advanced English Level.

• Desire knowledge in power BI.
