This position reports to the Service Sales Manager and contributes to the Global Motors & Generators Business Line Unit in Italy.

Work model: Hybrid

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales for assigned ABB foreign countries across Europe and non-European markets. Each day, you will focus on selling the entire Motion Service product portfolio, which includes retrofits, upgrades, spare parts, and highly customized replica motors. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term, trust-based customer relationships to foster business development and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

The main stakeholders are the Local ABB Service Sales Units and their customers. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Promoting the entire Motion Service products portfolio: retrofits, upgrades, spare parts, and highly customized motors
  • Translating customer needs into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions
  • Focusing on the entire service portfolio to secure profit for the assigned business
  • Working with local sales teams in foreign countries to identify and develop new market opportunities
  • Using your knowledge of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
  • Managing international sales activities in the assigned countries, ensuring strong relationship-building to support business growth

Qualifications for the Role

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales
  • Sound knowledge of Industrial Automation, OEM, End Users
  • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships based on trust
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical)
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Flexibility and availability for international travel
