Your Role and Responsibilities

You will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products in the field of DIN-Rail, Wiring Accessories and Building Automation.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Defining and executing test plans to ensure product compliance with standards, market requirements, and functional performance within complex ecosystems.

• Conducting product testing and analysis, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with R&D and Quality engineers to resolve quality issues and optimize performance.

• Improving testing setups, developing new procedures, enhancing equipment and methods, and supporting certification processes with external inspectors and regulatory bodies.

• Managing product approval and customer support, facilitating certification with Italian and international authorities and assisting in market-related debugging and issue resolution.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical engineering.

• You enjoy working with science and technology supported by a solid technical foundation.

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of basic Laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, functions generator etc..).

• Your interest lies in effective communication, presentations, and interpersonal relations, and you possess proficiency in working alone as well as with others.

• You are proficient in communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
