Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will apply IT knowledge and expertise to help solve complex technical or professional activities. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge about services and solutions, to contribute your expertise to enhance organizational efficiency.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Automation Information System in India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Manage Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle, Rocky) and perform advanced OS/kernel, filesystem, boot, and performance troubleshooting.
• Administer virtualization platforms like VMware v Sphere/ESXi, KVM, Hyper‑V, Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift also knowledge in AWS, Azure, GCP
• Networking configuration and administration (firewall, VLANs, Switching & routing).
• Design and manage backup & DR solutions (Veeam, Net Backup, Commvault, Rubrik, Dell Power Protect etc.,).
• Lead DR drills, data recovery, and business continuity initiatives. Also, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, datacenter transformations, and technology refresh activities.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Shell, and Python. Drive automation and optimization initiatives across infrastructure components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and resilient platform operations. Work within ITIL processes including incident, change, problem, and capacity management.
• Coordinate with vendors, application teams, cloud teams, and management for infrastructure planning and support. maintain SOPs, HLDs, LLDs, operational documents, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure security hardening, patch compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audits.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization across lab and data center environments

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• B.Tech or B.E 8+ years of proven experience as an IT Technology Specialist or similar role.
• Experience in the area of LAB IT and IT data center administration is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software(Linux, KVM, containers), networks, backup and virtualization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of IT, OT and ET infrastructure is a plus.
