About the Role

This position reports to: Project Operations Manager

Project execution is at the heart of our organization, fulfilling and exceeding customer expectations while helping to build a sustainable and profitable future. LV Systems, a business unit within ABB's Electrification division, sells and services low-voltage switchgear and control equipment, and provides aftermarket products for the Swedish market. The equipment is manufactured and delivered from ABB workshops in Europe depending on product type and scope. The unit's customers are primarily within the pulp and paper industry, mining, power generation and transmission, chemicals, as well as the infrastructure and construction sectors in Sweden.

You will manage our electrical installation projects involving low-voltage switchgear and control equipment and be responsible for aftermarket deliveries, either individually or as part of packaged solutions within LV Systems in Sweden. You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing the highest possible level of service throughout all phases of our deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Work on several projects in parallel, varying in size and complexity
• Hold order responsibility and overall responsibility for leading projects from planning to execution and closure
• Lead the execution of projects/deliveries and ensure that all activities follow company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, work environment requirements, and cost/profitability and time targets
• Define and prepare documents covering technical clarification, financials, scheduling, and risk management
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and financials, and control invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risks while ensuring that opportunities are identified and utilized
• Ensure project closure, including formal approvals and customer satisfaction, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met
• Procure services, materials, and equipment from both external and internal suppliers, and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with work environment policies and company guidelines, while promoting ABB's values regarding safety and integrity

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Relevant post-secondary education, preferably in electrical power engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in electrical power systems and accustomed to customer interaction during deliveries
• Experience with power industry contracting is considered an advantage
• Experience in project management and in administering project scope, costs, schedules, suppliers, and contractors in relation to technical projects
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office

Personal Qualities:

• Collaborative and solution-oriented with strong communication skills
• Trustworthy team player who enjoys working with others, both internally within projects and with customers and suppliers
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
