The Manufacturing Engineer will provide support to the manufacturing operations of the plant. Typical duties include process design, tooling design, capital project design and implementation, work instruction documentation, production and maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Plan and execute engineering projects involving equipment, tooling, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards
• Manage capital projects from justification (CAPR) through procurement, installation, programming, training, documentation, and production support within budget constraints
• Coordinate project resources and design reviews, overseeing technical studies, specifications, layouts, and product testing for efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine equipment specifications, secure quotes, manage tooling supplies, and optimize manufacturing capabilities and processes

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Work authorization that would permit employment for ABB in the US

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years experience
• 5+ years experience with manufacturing process review/development including strong understanding of lean process improvements
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC and computer controls
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works modeling software
• Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP Certifications
• Ability to gather and analyze information to develop solutions and develop strategies to achieve organizational goals
