ABB Marine Services is expanding, and we are now looking for a Spare Parts Specialist to join our Spare Parts team. In this role, you will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support service sales and ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the entire spare parts process.

You will be responsible for handling spare parts inquiries, order processing, and proactive sales of spare parts for electrical systems to our global customer base. The role offers a great opportunity to gain broad exposure to ABB’s marine products and services across their full life cycle.

The work model for this role is hybrid, and the position is based at our office in Ulsteinvik.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle customer spare parts inquiries and support the end‑to‑end supply process
  • Process quotations and sales orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Proactively promote and sell spare parts in close dialogue with customers
  • Maintain close contact with customers and suppliers, ensuring efficient communication and coordination
  • Support sales and marketing teams in the launch and sale of spare parts for new products, systems, and services
  • Assist in resolving spare parts‑related customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Contribute to cost control and follow-up of sales targets
  • Support product, system, and service life cycle management from a spare parts perspective
  • Cooperate with internal teams to highlight spare parts offerings in training activities for colleagues and customers

Qualifications for the role

  • You may have a Bachelor- or master’s degree in engineering or Business administration, either fresh from school or with some years of experience. It will be considered an advantage if you also have knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong interest in customer interaction, sales support, and supplier cooperation
  • Ability to combine practical problem-solving with structured and analytical thinking
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated to take responsibility and continuously develop your skills
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken; cultural awareness and respect are essential in our international environment
