Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
Engineering with hand-on experience in high-power converter design for wind, photovoltaic or industrial applications. We require at least 5 years' experience designing high-power converters (>500 kW desirable, >50 kW minimum). University experience is relevant as long as it involves high-power converters. Experience designing low power converters (<10 kW) is not relevant for this position.
- Converter topology trade-off analysis and selection
- Converter sizing and design reports
- Converter power losses and efficiency calculation
- Converters thermal and electromechanical design
- Converter electrical components specification & selection
- Converter test definition
- Product support
- Test benches design and test benches troubleshooting
- Test reports
Qualifications
- Technical or Higher Engineering degree (preferably in electrical, industrial or electronic engineering fields)
- More than 5 years experience on power converter design, testing and certification
- English level B1-B2
- Software Tools required: Matlab, PLECS, PSIM
- Health & Safety competences, LV equipment certification
