This Position reports to:

Procurement Manager

Join our Supplier Quality & Development team and support the onboarding and qualification of suppliers within ABB’s global supply base. This internship offers hands‑on experience with supplier data, compliance requirements, and quality processes, while working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilities

• Execute supplier registration, onboarding, and qualification workflows in SAP Ariba (≈ 70% of the role).

• Review supplier documentation (legal, financial, certifications, compliance forms) according to ABB’s onboarding policies and procedures.

• Ensure supplier adherence to ABB’s Supplier Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain missing information and guide them through the onboarding process.

• Maintain accurate supplier records and status updates in Ariba.

• Support Supplier Quality activities by organizing PPAP files, collecting quality documentation, and assisting with issue follow‑up (≈ 30%).

• Help track corrective actions, assessments, and general supplier performance documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.

• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

• Comfortable working with structured workflows and documentation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP Ariba is an asset.

• Interest in supplier management, compliance, or quality systems.
