About the Role
This Position reports to: Planning & Fulfillment Specialist
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
Work Model: On site
Location: Contributing to the electrification division in México
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Support the development and maintenance of production and fulfillment plans under the guidance of the Planning & Fulfillment team
- Assist in analyzing production schedules, material availability, and delivery dates aligned with the master plan
- Monitor basic operational and production performance indicators and help identify deviations or risks
- Support data collection and reporting related to backlog, shortages, and delivery performance
- Communicate identified capacity or material constraints to the Planning & Fulfillment team for further action
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and fulfillment processes
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
- No prior professional experience required
- Internship or academic project experience in manufacturing, planning, or supply chain is a plus
Technical Knowledge
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis; pivot tables desirable)
- Basic understanding of ERP systems; SAP (PP or MM modules) is a plus but not mandatory
Languages
- Intermediate to advanced English (ability to read documentation and communicate with cross-functional or international teams)
