In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will support engineering activities by coordinating and providing the materials needed for project execution, while showcasing your expertise to ensure all assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.

This role is contributing to the MNS Electrical Design Office in Smart Power SPLVS – Low Voltage Systems Egypt. Main stakeholders include project managers, engineering teams, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements

• Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, and timely implementation within the targeted cost

• Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured, staged, tested, installed, and commissioned

• Supporting engineering activities by coordinating materials, drawings, and documentation needed for smooth project execution

• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards in all engineering deliverables

• Participating in project reviews and technical discussions to contribute to design improvements and innovation

Qualifications:

• You are engaged in working with the latest design and configuration software and tools in the field of low voltage switchgear engineering

• You have 3–5 years of experience in the design of low voltage switchgear, including related activities such as testing, production support, and material planning

• You possess strong knowledge of Low Voltage Systems, IEC standards, EPLAN, short-circuit and selectivity studies, automation, PLC programming, and switchgear configurators

• You are passionate about solving technical challenges in the field of low voltage switchgear and committed to continuous learning and self-development

• You stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in low voltage systems, IEC standards, and switchgear engineering

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering

• You are at ease communicating in English
