Position reports to: GBS HR Expert Services Global Mobility M

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in the coordination of global mobility initiatives within ABB. Each day, you will support the global mobility strategy within a designated geography or specialist area as a single point of contact case manager for assignees and the business. You will also showcase your expertise by offering end-to-end support and advice in all areas of assignment management.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with global and local vendors, ensuring alignment with ABB's Global Mobility model and seamless integration into assignment processes
  • Leading vendor selection, onboarding, and contract renewal processes, including managing RFQs and benchmarking global providers for cost efficiency, quality, and innovation
  • Defining, monitoring, and refining vendor KPIs and SLAs in collaboration with internal teams; tracking performance and acting as the main point of escalation for service delivery issues
  • Overseeing vendor invoicing processes and maintaining accurate records of agreements, service standards, and contacts in designated shared tools
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives related to vendor services, including compliance, technology integration, and consolidation of local vendors into a cohesive global program
  • Supporting the Head of Global Mobility on strategy execution and leading or contributing to cross-functional projects related to scope expansion, benefit rollout, and team enablement

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in vendor management, contract governance, and procurement strategy within the Global Mobility or HR Services sector
  • 5+ years of experience in managing vendor relationships, executing RFQs, driving service improvements, and aligning supplier performance with global business goals
  • (Optional) Working as a Global Mobility Vendor Manager or Procurement Specialist with responsibility for multi-country vendor ecosystems is a strong plus
  • Enhanced knowledge of contract lifecycle tools, KPI/SLA tracking platforms, and shared documentation systems (e.g., Share Point, Service Now, or similar)
  • Passionate about cross-functional collaboration and proactive problem-solving, and innovative around process optimization and compliance oversight
  • Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Global Mobility, or a related field, with proven experience in managing strategic vendor partnerships
  • English language proficiency at C1 level, both in writing and speaking, within a global and multicultural environment
  • Current authorization to work in the country of employment
  • Open to occasional international travel, as required
