This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Position Overview:

Implement AI algorithms on industrial robots for predictive algorithm optimization, industrial process data
analysis, build up AI diagnosis consultation models.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Iterate robot predictive algorithms based on pre-trained large model frameworks; develop and deploy
    algorithms for robot status prediction, early warning, and service life estimation.
  2. Collect and analyze industrial process parameters (e.g., welding, assembly) and equipment fault data
    of robots, diagnosis and optimization, tap the value of industrial production data.
  3. Build, debug and commission AI consultation models for fault diagnosis & process optimization relying
    on industry knowledge bases, support for robot operation, maintenance & production.
  4. Deploy algorithm into industrial robot application scenarios, resolve on-site technical issues, and
    compile standardized technical documents.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, Automation, Robotics
    Engineering or related fields; solid foundation in mathematics and algorithms.
  2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in AI algorithm; candidates with experience in industrial
    robotics / smart manufacturing are preferred.
  3. Proficient in machine learning and deep learning algorithms; familiar with pre-training and fine-tuning
    of large models. Experienced in time-series data modeling, industrial large model evaluation &
    deployment & online iteration & performance optimization for fault diagnosis and process parameter
    optimization scenarios, as well as multi-source industrial data fusion; skilled in relevant development
    tools.
  4. Competent in knowledge base structuring, vectorization and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    construction.
  5. Strong logical thinking and on-site industrial problem-solving capabilities; self-motivated and proficient
    in cross-department collaboration
