JOB PROFILE SUMMARY
Supports regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global Category Manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Purchases materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Ensures purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global category leader.

Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.

Runs benchmark studies for the Category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.

Creates local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts.

Supports regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.

Onboards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer, runs regular supplier evaluations, and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.

Runs regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold.

Initiates Purchase Orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms the delivery with suppliers, monitors, and tracks supplier performance to PO requirements.

Fosters communication internally, externally, and between businesses and supports the implementation of procurement activities and initiatives in the region/country through this clear communication.
