This Position reports to: Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager Work Model: Onsite

Location: Bangalore, India

Business Unit: Motion

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system
• Checking the quality of incoming goods for storage
• Ensuring daily contact with suppliers
• Participating in regular inventory control processes
• Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks
• Ensures set productivity and Key Performance Indicators
• Identify and implement digitalization activity at warehouse and factory
• Develop new ideas through continual improvement activities
• Optimizes warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilization
• Recommends measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance
• Ensures various warehousing operations including Inbound and Outbound activities executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure timely support to factory feeding and to achieve monthly revenue targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in EC, E & E Engineering
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of Warehouse & Internal logistics operation experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Lean methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership skills (ability to motivate, communicate with, inspire and pull together the people around them)
• Knowledge of SAP system and Microsoft Office
• Problem solving, analytical, soft skills and effective communication
• Excellent communication skills in English
