Position Overview
Reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager
Work Model: Li-Onsite/Hybrid/Remote
Location: ABB India

About the Role
Supports the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Mentors and coaches teams to optimize outcomes and realize operational excellence. Deploys and leads projects to improve and sustain local business performance.
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
Training and Development
- Conduct Lean Six Sigma and quality training sessions across finance functions (P2P, O2C, R2R)
- Mentor Yellow Belt projects
- Endorse participation in quality initiatives
Process Improvement and Analysis
- Analyze Finance Operations KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead projects with a quality mindset from concept to delivery
- Facilitate Kaizen workshops for implementation
Collaboration and Execution
- Work closely with finance delivery teams
- Collaborate with functions like HR and IS to guide process improvement execution through Lean, analytics, or automation
Standardization and Transformation
- Deliver standardization and process streamlining projects
- Lead or support transition and transformation initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Overall 6 years or above experience, which should include the next two predominantly in Operational Excellence / Quality / Six Sigma lead roles (at least 2 years)
- In depth process knowledge and experience in Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R)
- Ability to guide Six Sigma Projects with a solid understanding of Six Sigma, Minitab, and Lean tools
