Are you someone who enjoys keeping things moving — from sourcing materials to ensuring they're delivered, stored, and dispatched efficiently? At ABB, we're looking for a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator who thrives in a hands-on role that blends purchasing precision with warehouse operations. In this combined position, you'll support both procurement and internal logistics. You'll ensure that materials are ordered and delivered on time, while also overseeing warehouse operations and coordinating a team that handles goods from receipt to dispatch.
Reports to: Marketing & Sales Manager
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms
- Ensure purchasing activities align with ABB's corporate procurement policies and procedures
- Initiate and manage purchase orders, confirm deliveries, and monitor supplier performance
- Support supplier identification and qualification in collaboration with category and quality teams
- Oversee warehouse operations, managing a team responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching products, systems, and services
- Optimize inventory accuracy, warehouse layout, and equipment usage
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Experience in procurement and/or warehouse logistics, preferably in a technical or industrial setting
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Ariba) and inventory tools
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail and process efficiency
