This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers throughout the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource for your designated area. You will also demonstrate your technical knowledge by preparing technical descriptions of products and technology, estimating costs, and preparing final proposal documentation.

This role contributes to Automation within the Measurement & Analytics division for the India Region.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For:

Supporting the local sales organization and customers in identifying the most technically suitable and cost‑effective solutions and assisting in the preparation of complex offers.

Preparing and supporting the development of technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, business unit/feeder factory inputs, and sales organization guidelines.

Analyzing customer needs and competitor offerings through market intelligence and sales organization feedback.

Performing lost‑proposal analysis, identifying root causes, and recommending actions to improve future win rates.
Qualifications for the Role

Specialized knowledge in technical sales support for bids and proposals in Continuous Water Analyzers (CWA), Continuous Gas Analyzers (CGA), Industrial Process Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), and Analytical Systems.

Experience in product selection and configuration, quotation preparation, technical document compliance, vendor coordination, full‑cost model calculation, and technical query resolution.

Knowledge of sales operation tools, including Salesforce Opportunity Management, Reports, and Dashboards.

Exposure to and understanding of industrial processes such as Power Plants, Water, Metals & Minerals, Oil & Gas, and Pulp & Paper.

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
