In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on various types of machines / equipment (e.g., bearings, conveyors, pneumatics)

Support Electrical maintenance engineer with Sensors, motors control panels etc.
-
Maintain tool and carry out repairs to equipment to ensure safe working order.

Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
-
Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.

Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
Qualifications for the Role
-
Time-served or formally qualified in Mechanical engineering
-
Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Electrical engineering knowledge.
-
Experience with tool setting and machine tool setup, with strong familiarity across workshop machinery such as lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders.

Working knowledge of maintenance practices using CMMS systems, including the ability to analyse data to drive continuous improvement and optimise performance.

Ability to read and interpret both mechanical to support manufacturing processes and equipment enhancements.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels across the business.
